A bandoleer of .30-06 'educational
contract' M1 Ball....
This
bandoleer of cartridges was made in 1927 by Winchester Repeating Arms
Company, and is an early 'educational contract' loading of the M1 ball
cartridge. Winchester was assigned lot numbers 600 through 632; these
cartridges were part of Lot 608 as noted on the information card that was
included in one of the end pockets of the bandoleer shown below.
The bandoleer is unmarked, and has 6 pockets each containing a carboard
liner with two unmarked brass 5 round clips. The headstamp is W.R.A.CO.
